Here’s the tips/where to find them: • Sensor: Try using clear tape over the sensor (tip in Leader’s Guide and Trouble Shooting Guide) • Map: Make sure to use the EdMats that ship separately; not the ones in the kit. • Audio: Turn off the sounds enhancement on laptops and download the updated firmware (The audio file is in the download file with instructions on how to update). • Circles: It is in line following mode and trying to find a thick black line. You need to put it right next to a black line (not on it) and it should then follow the line. If it is having problems following the line, try the tape trick. Alternately, use a heavy black marker to make your own thick lines on a sheet of paper. You can also try a simple Edison program. Some sample programs can be found at this link: meetedison.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Your-EdVenture-into-Robotics-10-Lesson-Plans.pdf If you use the trouble shooting guide and still cannot get it to work there’s a chance that it is a bad Edison. In this case, you can contact supply for a replacement.
